May has brought some changes to my life specifically new boobs! After seeing a video of myself a few months back, I was stunned to discover I looked like a 10 year old boy! Yikes! I needed new boobs and my hair highlighted! I immediately took care of the hair, but had to do a bit of research for the boobs. We decided on a doctor who specializes in TUBA (Trans Umbilical Breast Augmentation) specifically because it takes significantly less downtime than traditional methods. After meeting with the doctor and his staff, I was sold and made my appointment for May 2nd! The most difficult part was deciding on what size implants! So many choices and I was having trouble envisioning the final outcome. After my pre-op appointment and final decision, the hardest part was waiting! I guess I needed another lesson in patience! The surgery went off without a hitch, and I felt great that afternoon. I used my bags of frozen peas religiously and moved on to regular Tylenol the following day. After 4 days of regular Tylenol, I even stopped taking that! At my one week checkup, the doc said all is healing nicely and removed my sutures. Yay! The next day, Kevin & I left for Crossfit Regionals in Pomona to cheer on Em and the Crossfit Pride team! We had a great weekend, Em did awesome, and I got to unveil the girls! Now to shop for new bras and bikini tops! Happy 46th Birthday to me!
